Activities are a good way of bringing people together and giving space for talk, chat and conversations. And conversations are the basis of building interfaith relationships. Starting conversations around commonalities and areas of shared interest, can be instrumental in beginning to build trusted relationships.
We encourage people to connect through workshops, walks, crafting, community together events, exhibitions and to become involved with social activity. To this end, The GLADE Centre has developed a simple framework CONNECT-CHALLENGE-CHANGE to help build familiarity and greater understanding of some of the complex ideas around interfaith dialogue.
These activities serve to help people CONNECT through commonalities and areas of shared interest and shared values, building confidence in people in seeing everyday connections for learning about faith, belief and values.
